Eerie Earwig

August 5, 2015

That when you create some sun tea – you know, the gallon of tea you place outside to brew in the sun – a family of pinchy earwigs finds its way into the jug. Then, when you pour a thirst-quenching glass of this elixir over ice in the kitchen, you fail to notice the collection of bugs writhing over your cooling and life-affirming beverage. THEN when you take a huge gulp, you feel the wriggling in your throat and look into the glass to realize what you’ve just done. In all, the result is certain death because your heart explodes out of fear that this little creatures are eating holes in your esophagus and crawling down into your belly and rooting their way into your liver. It’s not refreshing, it’s not quenching…it’s a killer drink!
