Sweater Vest

Isn’t it odd how you can’t tell the players without a scorecard?

Or how much emotion we place on the outcome of our pro teams’ contests?

Or how funny some of the uniforms look (see photo – the Rockies have a uniform that features a sweater-vest style top)?

Or how we associate certain foods with certain events (hot dogs with baseball, cotton candy with circuses, and chili with fishing derbies)?

I’m watching the World Series right now and thinking about everything and anything I can to keep my mind off the very real possibility that the Red Sox COULD be on their way to winning a second world championship in a three-year span.

So keep reading and I’ll keep crossing my fingers, knocking on wood, not jinxing anything and wondering what the Rockies were thinking when they designed that uniform.
