I just noticed as I was cruising over here from jeffcutler.com to put a post up before going to bed, that Tom Walker had recently linked to bowlofcheese.

While that might not mean anything to you, to me it means that Tom has finished his GED and is now spending lots of time on the Internet. Hooray.

Actually, Tom is one of the most insightful people I know and it’s crazy that I haven’t seen him in nearly eight months. I’ve been slacking over here while I try to cement plans for my writing odyssey while he’s likely working his fingers to the bone at Bose.

He probably also put up the link because he’s cursing me for canceling our upcoming man-date at the Patriots-Dolphins game. The reason for that cancellation should be clear. The New England Patriots are a team of cheaters, drug addicts and baby-making-out-of-wedlock quarterbacks. OK, just one quarterback fits that description.

And as a lifelong Dolphins fan I don’t want to subject my sensibilities to a beatdown of mammoth proportions next week at the game.

This post was going to be all about the weather and gifts and iTunes and other stuff, but now I’m so very curious about Tom’s blog that I have to run over there right now.
