30KM into Stage 15

At 30KM into the 15th stage, Gerrans, Arrieta, Martinez and Danny Pate have a lead of 9:10 over the peloton.

The group broke away early and is being allowed to remain away by Cadel Evans’ Silence-Lotto team which is keeping the pace at the front of the peloton.

I suspect this will change and someone on Team Columbia will try to bridge the gap in the next 50KM.

The big climbs are coming. Remember – category 1 and an hors category today.
