Four for the United States

No. Not a spoiler…although I don’t know yet who wins this stage. But I wanted you to realize that after having a dozen or more US riders in the Tour de France in past years, we only have FOUR riders in the 2008 edition.

They are Will Frischkorn of Garmin-Chipotle, George Hincapie of Team Columbia, Christian Vandevelde of Garmin-Chipotle and Danny Pate also of Garmin-Chipotle.

Seems like if Garmin tanks, the United States only has George to root for.
