With 3KM to go, the three riders are still away by about 15 seconds. Team Columbia with George Hincapie at the front is screaming along in the peloton and setting the pace for the other 173 riders.

I say 173 because there are three in the breakaway and one Gerolsteiner rider crashed at about 4KM. I don’t know yet if he’s going to get up and finish the race.
