Stage 4 – Results – a surprise – 2010 Tour de France

While most folks – including me – had chosen Mark Cavendish or another strong sprinter to win the stage, Alessandro Petacchi took another one.

That’s right, he’s 36 years old and squeaked out another win. This time a sprint finish against the likes of Thor Hushovd and Mark Cavendish.

No other real changes took place in the stage and my prediction for Stage 5…along with the Stage 4 Standings and overall GC Standings are coming up. *There won’t be a shakeup until Sunday I predict. But that day the Tour de France will be decided.
