Visiting the 2013 Newport Jazz Festival

Guess where I’m going tomorrow (Sunday)! Well, the title of this post probably gave it away. Yup, the 2013 Newport Jazz Festival in Newport, RI.

I’m headed there as a guest of Natixis Global Asset Management and I’m going to be sharing some photos, videos and thoughts via social media channels and this blog.

For nearly 60 years, the festival has hosted various renowned, successful musicians, as well as emerging artists and has seen several historic and legendary performances. We believe this year’s festival will be equally as spectacular with perfomances from Grammy Award winners Esperanza Spaulding, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock and many other premier artists across the entire spectrum of jazz music.
