Anticipation

January 16, 2007

This isn’t a Ketchup (or Catsup) commercial, but it is a slight pre-admonishment to all of you who keep sending me emails requesting my review of CES (the Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas last week.

Yes, I was there and saw a handful of truly innovative products. From some gadgets already on the market – Celestron’s SkyScout and egrips’ gadget-holding miracle applique – to those that are merely concepts – smart clothing, LED television monitors, RF power chargers, and dynamic auto dash displays.

But you’re not going to read about that here for a few weeks as I’m writing materials and columns for various clients and I don’t think it’s fair to preempt a print publication with some electronic ruminations, even if these ruminations are specifically about electronics.

Suffice it to say that the show was whelming – both over and under. There was plenty of crap and lots of cool stuff. Stay tuned here for more details in a future post!
