Laptopless

Today the Macbook is going to be in the shop. It will also be in the shop tomorrow and probably Saturday.

What’s that going to be like? I’m uncertain. It’s been years since I haven’t had connectivity and I haven’t purchased an iPhone, so I think I’ll truly be out of touch.

While AppleCare IS the best thing on earth, being without my information is going to be daunting.

I’ll be able to get email via gmail. And I can do my writing on my writing machine.

But what about portability and surfing and Tweeting?

I guess this is what the Pilgrims had to deal with when the Mass Bay organization vetoed Wimax Wifi in the Plymouth area.

See you all on Sunday or Monday.

More to come…
