Overheard at the Red Sox

During tonight’s game 1 of the World Series, Tim McCarver mentioned that a play in the top of the second inning was a “dandy.”

Unfortunately, the way McCarver said it made him sound like a real dandy.

Maybe I’m just saying that because McCarver bothers me because he’s a Yankees fan and never ever ever ever ever gives the Red Sox any credit.

Joe Buck, on the other hand, is as good an announcer as I’ve ever heard. He’s up there with Sean McDonough.
