Nope, not a post about Eric Clapton or any other artist. This is a post about the freedom of being without wires.

It’s so cool.

I got the USB modem rolling along nicely at a client’s office today and since then I’ve been giddy. No more being tethered to the house. No more Wijacking all over Florida or Virginia or Vegas or Oregon or anywhere in the United States.

I’m feeling a little pain from the speed loss (but it’s minimal) and I can’t tell you how nice it is to retire to an air-conditioned bedroom and click around wildly and wirelessly.

If I hit any major glitches, I’ll let you know. But for now, I’m quite pleased. Technology is great.
