There were very few hacks or pranks taking place today. And the day serves as a reminder to me and all writers that keeping your eye on the calendar is pretty important.

When you know what’s coming up, you can plan pieces to correspond with events. That makes them more salable and makes editors more impressed with your research and thought process.

In town again today, and every day this week. Poking around to see what stories I can uncover and seeing if this model will work for me going forward. I like working from home as well, but sometimes a change of venue helps spur creativity and effort.
